Cleans up a grown music collection — sort, tag, verify. Work in progress.
CheeTag cleans up a music collection that has grown over the years: it reads the collection, identifies every track through an acoustic fingerprint, pulls the details from MusicBrainz and builds a clean library next to it — while the source stays untouched.
The collection is worked through piece by piece, every suggestion can be reviewed first, and every change is written to the journal.
It will be free of charge. There is no release to download yet.
Go to the CheeTag section — features, how it works, development status, download and questions.
Feedback goes straight from the program: Help → Send feedback. It arrives with the log file and inventory attached.
